Ok, so I haven't written in a while, but I'll hopefully be getting back on track because school is almost over, and summer is almost here. Hopefully.
It's not acting like its close to summer. You want to know why? I'll tell ya why. It's because its freakin snowing. Yes, I said it, snowing. Its snowing at the end of May. Rediculous I know, but true as can be. Its very depressing really, having it snow when the flowers are supposed to be blooming, and the winter gear is supposed to be put away. Its supposed to be warm, not cold. I'm just can't believe that it was cold on my Mom's birthday. I don't think that it snowed, but it was cold when it should have been a really nice and hot day. I also feel bad that I didn't get her anything. I am happy for her though, that's she's on a cruise for her birthday. I'm really happy for her. Haha, just wish that I was able to go. Haha... But I'm here with Denali and we're having a great time.
Now for an update of what are now past events....
Let's see here.... It has been nice and warm to start with. And then out of no where someone decides to shake the snowglobe in Lake Tahoe. Then its nice again, and then it decides to snow again. Not fun, and everyone up here wants it to be summer. What I haven't written on here is that I have been secretly dating my boyfriend Ryan. My Mom found out, and I got busted for lying to her; which is something that I'm not proud of. But we got past that, and I'm still dating my boyfriend, and everything's fine there.
My Mom's birthday was on the 20th, so she is in a cruise to Mexico for her birthday, which I'm totally jealous; but she seems to be having a blast. Meanwhile, I am at home with my little sister, Denali, and we are having fun too. Denali has gotten over her fear of dogs, sort of; and she likes cats now, which is really good.
I guess that's pretty much it to sum things up. Right now I'm just trying to get through school and pass my junior year. Oh, I got another job. So, I have two jobs now and they are literally right next door to each other. I work at the movie theater like before, but I also work at an Antique Store, which is a mere 10 steps away. So that is pretty great for me. And I love it too! I have sold some items, which I'm very proud of. But that is about it. I think that life as just been boring, and stressful here and there, but other than that, there's nothing new. Oh I got my hair cut, if you can see that from my new header up there, and that guy right there next to my photo is my bf, Ryan. I love him, believe it or not. And his birthday is coming up on the 30th of May, so I'm still deciding what I should get for him, and what we could do for his bday. And I'm still deciding what I want to do for my bday as well. So far I've got Sushi for lunch, but I'm still planning everything out, so we'll see how that goes, and who'll come and hang with me on my bday. LOL!
But I'm working at the Antique Store right now, so I better get going. I just haven't updated on here in a while, and just thought that I'd say something.

Out and About
So what am I doing right now? Yes, I'm out and about. Right now I'm hanging out at the library until I have to go to work, or until I can find someone to hangout with before I have to go to work. Very interesting I know. Right now I'm listening to music, talking to friends on facebook and playing some computer games. What ever will I do next. I don't even know. Might read a book or go watch a movie in the corner of the library.
So recently (over the weekend recently) I got food poisoning, and it was not fun at all. Though one would think that food poisoning never is, but whatever. Actually it's not whatever. I spend all of Saturday night in the bathroom, if you know what I mean. Not great at all. Next morning, got dehydrated, so I had to drink lots of water of course, lay in bed, and I ate some crackers. Not a fun day, especially since it was Valentine's Day. By the way, Happy Valentine's Day to those of you out there that care to read my blog.
So back to this food poisoning thing. How many of you have had food poisoning? Crazy uh? And nasty. Just wish that my stomach would feel better already. Though I'm glad that its an on and off thing; but its still horrible. I'm still afraid to eat stuff, cause I don't want it coming back up. But I'll get there. Other than that I'm ok. I'm a survivor. LOL.
I haven't written on here in a while so, here's some news. I entered one of my poems in a poetry contest. Did I mention this before? Anyways, I got a letter back saying that I was going to be in this book along with other young poets that got chosen to be in this book. It's cool! So I got the poem that I sent and was able to make a few corrections to the poem if I wanted and send it back. There is also a possibility that I could be chosen to be in the Top 10 which means that I could win some money or prizes or something. So I hope that I get that.

Let's see... What else? Oh, I made a few friends from my classes online, and they are cool, though they are like 3 years younger than me, but it is still cool. They're good friends. I've connected with them on facebook and stuff, so we chat all the time. It's fun to talk to someone from school, some of them are in like three of my classes which is cool, especially because we help eachother with school stuff.
I'm still reading my books, and staying on top of my school stuff. I believe I have A's in all my classes and I plan to keep it that way.
The weather is getting nice here, but it's still a bit chilly out, so I always bring a jacket. And work is great as always. Right now at the theater we have the movie Valentine's Day playing which I plan to see tomorrow. It looks like a good movie, and I also still want to see the movie Dear John, Leap Year, and Percy Jackson's: The Lightning Thief. I also want to see a few movies that may not even have come out yet, but I'll get to see them, no worries. Well, I'm going to get off here soon, for the timer on this computer is almost up, and I need to figure out what else I can do in this library. I might read or go watch a movie. IDK. I'll figure something out. I might end up writing somemore poems and put them on my other blog when I get back home. IDK.... There are so many possibilities. LOL. I should probably stay away from the free books though, cause when I'm over there I tend to get carried away with how many books I get. LOL. You have no idea how crazy it gets for me when it comes to free books. Well, I better go. But I'll hopefully write soon. I know I haven't written an entry in a long time. Probably since New Years or as far back as Christmas. I just have to find some time.

Work, Sleep, Clean
Ok, so I haven't completely been following my resolution like I said that I would... But that is only natural for anyone. I'm still going to try though. A New Year = a fresh start... in a word a sort of clean slate. I just have to work out a routine of some sort. I to go to work... sometimes unexpectedly, but that's cool. I have school to do and those good grades that I need to get. I also need to get some sleep and clean my room, and hopefully not be too lazy to help out around the house.
Work-wise, its cool... I'm working.. doing my job and such. It is just sleep that is the problem. I don't know what it is, but have you ever had those nights when you were so tired and you tried to go to sleep but couldn't because at the same time you were just wide awake? Something was keeping you from sleeping and you didn't know what it was? Well, I have that problem right now. I don't know what it is, but lately I've just been having the weirdest sleeping patterns, and I really don't like it. I don't know. Hopefully it'll go away soon; I'll just end up being so tired that I'll end up sleeping throughout the entire night without waking up. I'm hoping.
Next is cleaning and making room for all of that new school stuff. Trust me, it's hard and I don't like doing it either, but it is something that has to be done. It is actually a great thing to do, and one that I should do more often. I now have a lot of room in my desk, granted I am not done yet and I haven't put everything back into my desk, but I have thrown away a lot of stuff that I thought that I would need, but just really don't need at all. I just need to clean more often and stop being lazy about everything. That is a flaw that I possess and I'm trying to get rid of it through my resolution list. Let's just hope that it works at least part of the way, if not all the way.
Ok, more about my life later... I'm going to head off to bed and try and get some shut eye. So goodnight, I hope to write soon and get into a routine where I can write my entries and create more poetry for all of you to read. The first step is working up a routine. New Year!!!!
Ok, so it's a new year. A time for making those resolutions that you just hope to follow this year, like you didn't last year. I have made mine of course and I'm hoping to follow it this year. Just hoping to at least follow at least half of the list if not all, because I didn't follow my resolution from last year, I don't think one bit, which really sucks, but is true none the less.
New Years for me wasn't the greatest. First of all, I have barely gotten any sleep in like two weeks and I of course, as usual have no idea why. But hey, what's a girl to do? And no, I refuse to take one of those sleeping pills.... Anyway, on top of no sleep, I get a cold sore because of the lack of sleep I've been getting, and get to stay at home all day when I could have been out hanging with a friend because of the darn cold sore; or as my friend Forrest likes to call it herpies. Yuck... nasty word. Luckily though, it's just about gone.
So..., what else is new? Well, I got a new phone. The battery on my old phone died and when my Mom was going to get a new one, we ended up getting me a new phone. I really like it. It's my fave color: green, and it's eco friendly, which just means that it was made out of recycled plastics and stuff. I am hopefully going to be able to use this phone to put my pictures up, cause it has a camera on it, with memory card; so I'm hoping that I can somehow get the pics uploaded on my computer.
Here in Tahoe, it has been sunny/ partly cloudy. Right now it looks to be partly cloudy, but it could change sometime today.
And right now my Mom keeps going off about how cellphones in ur pocket can give you cancer. Now I don't believe it as well as everyone that I ask about it. But my Mom really believes it, so if you find anything on that send me the link so that I can read it for myself. I also learned how it couldn't be true because if cellphones in ur pockets give you cancer then like every electronic that ur around can give you cancer. Now I can understand getting brain cancer while talking on a cellular device, but having it in ur pocket is just going a bit far. Like I said before, if you find anything that is from something other than a .com website then feel free to give me the URL.
Tonight at the movie theater we are playing "It's Complicated" which looks like a really good movie, but the movie that I want to see even more is "Leap Year." That movie looks extremely good. Speaking of work, it's going great, as always! I love working at the movie theater! Granted it's slow season at work, but it's still great! I just can't wait till summer already. Though I still want to learn how to snowboard for next year... or this year.... You know what I mean. My friend Alec said that he'd teach me. I just hope that I'm actually good at it. Hope that it's easier than skiing.
I also hope that I can get caught up in writing entries because the last entry I think was like a day after Christmas, which was a while ago. So I hope to catch up, or write more entries; however you'd like to say it.
Ok, well I'm hoping to hangout with someone, or have someone come over today; so I'm going to go and try and get a hold of someone. Hope to write again sometime this week: Saturday or Sunday... LOL
